TCP Cup twelve was held on the Gold Coast for the first time in its rich history. Unfortunately there was limited support for the trip with only 14 loyal punters making the trip up to Queensland. As a consequence two late rookies were added to bring our number up to 16. The new punters were Molly Molloy from Wonga Park and Mark Olly Ohlsen who plays down at the National.
Due to the low numbers we had a one Division competition with only 12 punters able to take out the TCP Cup. The two rookies were ineligible; In addition Crocodile and Snake Baker were ruled out as they came along to party, not to play golf.
The format was once again stroke on three of the better courses on the Gold Coast:
2 February 2008 - On the Saturday afternoon at Rich River the boys had a few quiet ones while Maxy decided to have a mid afternoon nap.

The TCP Cup brings together some of the greatest golfers in the history of the great game. Very few of them can play but most of them know how to enjoy themselves and kick their heels up on that one weekend each year. Country towns such as Yarrawonga, Swan Hill, Horsham, Cobram, Echuca, Barwon Heads and Bridport Tasmania have never been the same since the TCP Cup circus came to town.
